4th - Miss. Wameling

Hello My Name Is...

Miss. Wameling

Hello Next Generation STEAM Academy,

My name is Victoria Wameling and this will be my first-year teaching, as well as my first year with NGSA. I enjoy every moment of teaching and I look forward to becoming a part of the Next Generation STEAM Academy community.

I currently live in Escalon but I am originally from Oakdale. After graduating from Oakdale high school, I attended Modesto Junior College where I received my Associates degree in Teacher Preparation. Shortly afterwards, I transferred to California State University, Stanislaus where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies in May of 2016. Furthermore, I recently completed the Multiple Subject Credential Program at CSU Stanislaus to receive my preliminary multiple subject teaching credential. During my time in the credential program, I spent six months attending classes focusing on instructional strategies in each content area, as well as four months student teaching in third grade at Van Allen Elementary in Escalon. Also, I was a substitute teacher for Escalon Unified School District for the 2016-2017 school year.

I enjoy spending time with family, reading, crafting, and everything outdoors. I currently do not have children but my four dogs keep me on my toes. Also, I enjoy completing science experiments.

Becoming a teacher has been a lifelong dream of mine, therefore I am beyond thrilled to be teaching 4th grade! It’s going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries. In my classroom, I feel it is very important that everyone’s ideas, thoughts, and actions are valued. We all have unique talents and strengths and I can’t wait for us to share them all. Let’s make this an incredible year!
