Ms. Perry 3rd Grade

Ms. Victoria Perry

Victoria Perry is happy to return as part of the third grade team at Next Generation STEAM Academy. She graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Child and Family Development and received her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with an emphasis on ELD (English Language Development) at National University. She is also a G.A.T.E (Gifted and Talented Education) certified teacher, and enjoys differentiating instruction for all students.

This is her 13th year in education, and she is still as inspired as her first year. She has had the privilege to teach preschool and middle school in Southern California. Before coming to NGSA, she taught 4th grade in Dublin, where she volunteered for many school based and district level leadership positions, which earned her Dublin Unified School District’s Employee of the Year Award.

Along with project based learning, she is also a big fan of adaptive learning technologies and inquiry based learning.  Ms. Perry is delighted that NGSA is giving students the opportunity to engage in real world, project based lessons which allow students to cultivate collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity skills.

Ms. Perry and her family live in Mountain House. Both of her children attend NGSA, and have had a good experience academically and socially here at the school. In addition to teaching, Ms. Perry enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family in the great outdoors. She coached cheer and dance for several years, and enjoys helping kids rehearse for choral performances.

She looks forward to meeting and collaborating with parents to make this a joyful and successful school year.
